The digital library is established with more than 20 desktops with advanced configuration connected with high speed internet and latest NPTEL Educational videos - lectures of IIT professionals, connected to LAN (intranet) wide spreading the learning environment. Library is a free wi-fi Zone opening the path to the international competitive world for students. Central Library uses e-cap software package, which is an integrated multi-tier library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library.

The different types of searches available to users are simple search, advanced search additional search, browse, ISBN, accession number, latest arrivals, journals, patrons and bulletin. In browsing the user can access the database through author, title, subject, classified, keywords and combinational search.
